Das Poster mit dem Titel "Herstellung submikroner PVDF-Partikel mittels Rapid Expansion of Supercritical Solutions (RESS)" und den Ko-Autoren Dr. R. Vukićević (Universität Potsdam), Prof. Dr. S. Beuermann(TU Clausthal) und Prof. Dr.-Ing. M. Türk (KIT) überzeugte die Fachjury.
Ziel der von der DFG im Rahmen des Gemeinschaftsprojektes “Herstellung submikroner Polyvinylidenfluorid-Partikel“ (BE 2033/3-1 und TU 93/13-1, Details) geförderten Arbeiten ist es, mit dem RESS-Verfahren submikrone Partikel von Homo- und Co-Polymeren des Vinylidenfluorids (PVDF) herzustellen. Von PVDF sind 5 Kristallformen bekannt, wobei die b-Phase für die ferro-, piezo- und pyroelektrischen Eigenschaften verantwortlich ist. Deshalb soll im Rahmen des Projektes insbesondere untersucht werden, ob und bei welchen Prozessbedingungen die gewünschte ß-Phase bevorzugt gebildet wird. Im Vergleich zum Ausgangsmaterial soll ferner geprüft werden, wie sich die reduzierte Partikelgröße auf die Kristallinität, Polarisierbarkeit und die elektrisch aktiven Eigenschaften auswirkt.
